GACC - The Manager

Hi everyone...
This time around, I have been appointed as the manager of 11 people for the Grand Asian Chess Championship in November. The training starts immediately, and will continue until the tournament day.

As manager, I will monitor the progress and growth of the players from time to time. I will also have to make sure they mingle and build the teamwork during this times.
If the club manages to take any cash home, the fund will be shared amongst the 12 of us.

Calculus + Business Maths Next Semester?

A financial engineer needs strong foundation in the following:
1. Calculus
2. Computing Skills

As a business student, I am only studying accounting, economics, finance, computing skills and all the other random subjects in the world [this includes academic study skills, Islamic studies, KOR Uniten (WTF?)].

Next Sem - Taking Calculus, 6 hours / week (not sure how many credit hrs).
Dropping a random worth 3 hrs.

3rd Sem - Continue taking Calculus 4 hours / week (not sure how many credit hrs).
Dropping 3 randoms if possible, these are adjusted according to priority:
1. KOR Uniten (No value)
2. Islamic Studies (Unpractical)
3. Academic Study Skills (C'mon man, it is already sem 3!)

Result:
Add Calculus: GRANTED
Drop Randoms: must talk to Dean, aka PA...

Sigh.

My Bad Day, moments before the Eid Part 2 (18th September 2009)

Today, took maths test, but a bunch of questions failed to answer, risking 20 / 100 marks
Other students do well xcept for me,
lecturer sends to the Mosque at 12.30,
took a quick nap,
woke up to find out that people are already doing their prayer,
rush to the line to find out that the prayer has finished,
walk back to the apartment under heavy rain,
went home experiencing traffic jam,
food at home not sufficient to break fast,
nearby good food outlets closed

My Bad Day, moments before the Eid (17th September 2009)

Today is a bad day...

took accounts test, but didn't manage to balance off my accounts.

got lots of homework from Writing lecturer, spoiling my raya mood,

failed my pre-test by 10 points (490 for critical reading),

got scolded by Yu Jin ( the CR lecturer),

want to go to upten (the nearest food court, 10mins walking distance) but it is raining so heavily,

an umbrella won't help,

so wanted to break fast with maggi, but out of water supply.

cannot even do a simple milo.

room8s went home, all alone in my apartment,

neighbours all out,

tomorrow is maths mid-term exam, not prepared!
